Join the Writing Center tutors for another exciting weeks' worth of workshops! Topics include Paraphrasing and Summarizing, Works Cited: MLA & APA, and Research: Points of View.

The Paraphrasing and Summarizing workshop will be held on Tuesday, April 9th from 1:00-1:45 PM. Learn common punctuation errors and how to fix them! When should you use a comma or a semicolon? Does the apostrophe come before or after the ‘s’? Learn all this and how to save lives with punctuation!

The Works Cited: MLA & APA workshop will be held on Wednesday, April 10th from 5:30-6:15 PM. Learn how to put source material into your own words. We will go over signal phrases, patchwork plagiarism, and sentence structure. You will also create a paraphrase.

The Research: Points of View workshop will be held on Saturday, April 13th from 12:30-1:15 PM. Learn how to grab your readers’ attention in the introduction and finish with a bang in the conclusion of your essay. Keep the reader engaged from the beginning to the end!

All workshops are held in HS 203.
